This past weekend, during Halloween I woke up at 7:30am to get ready for the first ever Hello Kitty Con. Spent the day with two of my friends Krystal (Chun Li) and Elaine (Hello Kitty). First stop was at Chado Tea Room for our Lolita Tea Party. We got to take pictures with Hello Kitty and Kawaii Ambassador who was flown out from Japan. We had an amazing tea ceremony, celebrating Hello Kitty’s 40th!
I had to take a selfie with Hello kitty!
Right outside Hello Kitty Con, there was a giant painting of Hello Kitty. How can I not take a picture with it?
And the convention begins…
Free Hello Kitty Tattoos anyone? And no I don’t mean the fake kinds!
A display of different Hello Kitty inspired fashion!
Hello Kitty Cafe coming to LA in 2015? Uh, well you will know where I’ll be at next year!
After spending the whole day at the convention, we headed back to our hotel to get ready for a night of Halloween. Came home with a lot of goodies from the convention. My friend Krystal, has a bit of an obsession with Hello Kitty… I think I might like dressing up in pink wigs and pink clothes?
