LAX → CAN

The flight to China was long and exhausting, with a total of 19 hours of travel time. First, we landed in Singapore which, was 14 hours. Then, we transferred to another plane to take us to Guangzhou which, was another 5 hours. The flight was only suppose to take 2 hours and 45 minutes but there was an hour delay. The layover wasn’t too bad it allowed us to stretch our legs before getting on another long flight. All I could remember from the flight was how long it was, I couldn’t wait to finally get off and breathe wonderful smoggy air!

(On the other side…)

As we were landing, we were surrounded by smog and all you could see was smog. The plane almost disappeared into the cloud of smog from Guangzhou. I was nervous about the landing since I could barely see outside and was wondering if the pilots could even see the runway…

I was so grateful to have this cute top courtesy of Charlotte Russe with me. It not only cute but light weight which, helped a lot with surviving the weather in Guangzhou. All I had left to do was throw on a pair of sneakers and my outfit was both cute and comfy for the day.

This was one of my absolute favorite for Guangzhou, the dress was designed so cute and breezy that Guangzhou’s weather was no match for it. I was able to go about my day without having to worry about getting hot and sweaty. This beautiful number is courtesy of Charlotte Russe! I love the detailing on the side and back, it gave the dress more of a wow factor by showing bits of skin. While I was in Guangzhou my makeup was kept at a minimum with just light powder and cat eyes. You don’t want to be walking about with heavy makeup, unless you want it to melt off… No one wants to see that…

About the outfit:
Dress: CHARLOTTE RUSSE
Shoes: FOREVER 21
Bag: DOONEY AND BOURKE

Alex and I rode the subway to almost every destination, it was clean and quick which, was quite the surprise. I loved the subway system it was very efficient and best of all you could pretty much get anywhere in Guangzhou!
