Hi Everyone! Hope you all had a nice weekend enjoying the chilly weather. This past friday I started my internship with BCBG in there Textile Design Department. It was a good first day filled with a new experience and atmosphere. I learned new tricks on CS6 that will definitely come in handy when designing. I will have future posts on my experience interning with BCBG. Later, I got to see my old roomies Elaine and Krystal, I didn’t even know that Krystal worked right across the street from me! It was great to see some familiar faces.
On Saturday, I had an early dinner with Alex’s family. I saw Adrienne (Alex’s sister), who I haven’t seen in forever so it was great catching up with her.
We ate at a place called Chengdu Taste in Alhambra, you have to get there quite early. There was a long line right after we got there. The food was amazing, I love trying out new dishes especially there Mung Bean Noodles were delicious.
Afterwards, we went food shopping at the 168 Market.
Then off to get dessert! We went to Macchiato in Monterey Park to check out their macaroon ice cream.
The place felt cozy, perfect for the winter to hang out with friends.
Meet the Zhao Kids! Say hello to Adrienne!
We ordered the Green Tea, Strawberry and Vanilla flavored macaroon ice cream. Green tea was the best in my opinion. The others were a bit too sweet for my taste but still delicious.
Here is what I picked out for Saturday’s outing. I kept it casual but sweet using the fall themes of Grey Matters and Print Mania.
With the Naked 2 Palette I used the colors Chopper for the inner eyeshadow and Snakebite for the outer eyeshadow. I created a slight cat eye with a brown eyeliner from Rimmel London. Lastly, I used mascara from Benefit. The nail color I used was Raisin’ the Bar by Sally Hansen.
The necklace is handmade by my old roomie Krystal Ann Cabo.
The bracelets were also made by Krystal. The two toned colored bag is from Cotton On.
My stockings are from TopShop and the boots are from Forever 21.
I changed my mind last minute to converses to create a more casual, comfy look.
On Sunday, I experience this new concept called Homework… And that concludes my weekend.
